I Promised Artwork For INGLORIOUS BASTERDS And As A True Artist, I Am Keeping My Word.. BIG TIME

AS A TRUE WRITER IN MY OWN MIND, I READ THE SCREENPLAY FOR THE FILM BEFORE I WENT TO SEE THE MOVIE SO THAT I COULD MAKE A TRULY FAIR ASSESSMENT OF QUENTIN TARANTINO'S VISION AND METAPHORICAL PULLING OF LE' TRIGGER.

CHRISTOPH WALTZ WAS ABSOLUTELY WORTH EVERY PENNY FOR ADMISSION AND EVEN THOUGH I WAS EXPECTING A STUNNING PERFORMANCE, HE DEFINITELY DID NOT DISAPPOINT~

ON A LIGHTER NOTE, I SAW INGLORIOUS BASTERDS LAST NIGHT

It seems as if I don't waste the time to see movies in the theater anymore unless it is almost guaranteed that I will love it or if it is created by Wes Anderson or Quentin Tarantino. The latter was the case for my night out last night and even though I was expecting the world ever since I read a raving review for the film when it was screened at Cannes, I still found INGLORIOUS BASTERDS, the new film by Tarantino which apparently skipped on the spell check option, to be pretty damn awesome. I will keep this short and not go into ruining the plot like most of the other reviews that I read, but aside from the middle being a little too long, I found the movie to be well written and superbly acted. There is something about Quentin Tarantino that I find fascinating and it might be because he is a true artist out of left field, like myself or it might be how excited he is about the process even after all these years, but I find that even the poster art for his films seems to get me excited. For that exact reason, I am going to post all of the different posters for the movie I can find, because I feel that art and the sense of sight can prove as much as any and all words I could sit here
and type. There are about 4 Billion opinions in the world that people could find the time to care about, but not as many are formed with a heavy dose of artistic savvy plus the time included for a pretty cool presentation. I consider my blog to do just that ;)

Just In Case The World Explodes In 42 Hours..

DJ AM HAS LEFT THE EARTH ALONG WITH ALL OF THE OTHER GREAT PEOPLE GONE LONG BEFORE THEIR TIME

He survived a horrific plane crash not even a full year ago but still apparently didn't realize how precious life really is. That mighty come off a little harsh, but I am so sick of the talented youth of our country slowly killing themselves. My friend from around the corner hung himself at the community pool just a week ago and I am still upset about Heath Ledger for some reason, probably because he was so damn talented, but these days it seems as if the more talented you are, the higher chance there is of a dark side to your life which usually ends in a bad way.
(case in point being the King of Pop)

It seems like only a couple of months ago, I read an article pointed out to me in a thick magazine along the lines of Vogue (because I am known to read whatever can inform me of things I find interesting which is basically anything with print) which was shocking to me because of the graphic detail surrounding Adam Goldstein's battle with drug addiction including crack rock and the intense situation involving a gun being placed to his own skull which would have ended his life if the gun wouldn't have jammed. It seems as if the battle with crack rock was still a full swing dance that had never ended and one would speculate that the plane crash, which took 4 other peoples lives and spared Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker, actually led to Adam taking the prescription pills found lying next to his body.

Authorities will need to conduct toxicology tests, expected to take weeks, to determine what killed celebrity disc jockey DJ AM, a medical examiner's office spokeswoman said Saturday.

An autopsy Saturday of the 36-year-old was inconclusive, said the spokeswoman, Ellen Borakove.

A law enforcement official told The Associated Press that police found a crack pipe and prescription pills in the apartment where they discovered DJ AM's body Friday evening. The official spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the investigation was ongoing.

DJ AM, whose real name was Adam Goldstein, had openly discussed past addictions to crack cocaine, Ecstasy and other drugs. In October, MTV was to debut his reality show, "Gone Too Far," in which he and concerned families staged interventions for drug abusers. MTV hasn't said whether Goldstein's show will air.

In an interview with the AP last month, he said the show provided a "terrifying" reminder of his own addiction.

"I have to constantly remind myself why I'm here and remember what it was like," he said.

Goldstein rose to fame several years ago as a deejay known for his mashups — blends of at least two songs. He performed in clubs, on concert stages and at exclusive Hollywood parties. His personal life also garnered attention, as he dated actress-singer Mandy Moore and reality TV star Nicole Richie, the daughter of singer Lionel Richie.

Goldstein was critically hurt in a plane crash last September in Columbia, S.C., that killed four people. He was flying in a Learjet after a performance with Travis Barker, a drummer for the pop-punk band Blink-182 and Goldstein's partner in the duo TRVSDJ-AM.

Barker and Goldstein were burned. Goldstein had to get skin graft surgery but resumed performing about a month later.

He told the AP he felt blessed to have survived but was still shaken by the crash.

"I guess I get why they call it 'post-trauma,' because it was very tough. I have really bad days, and I have really OK days," he said.

His body was found after a friend called police to say he was unable to get into the home in New York City's trendy SoHo neighborhood. Paramedics had to break down the door before they found him, shirtless and wearing sweatpants, in his bed around 5:20 p.m. on Friday, the law enforcement official said.

There was no evidence of foul play.
